WTF Dealer????????? Huntington Audi of Long Island --

So my car was brought in for the 25K service about 2 months ago. Since then I haven't popped the hood. Today I decide open the hood to clean only to find out that the plastic cover that runs along the fire wall for the battery was removed and never reinstalled .

What are my chance now that time has passed that the dealer will make good? This is annoying since they are the only ones to have touched the car since I've owned it. The car was bought used but only serviced at Huntington Audi on Long Island. Any ideas , thanks

umm what year is your car? i know the b7 a4's didn't come with any cover.

I found Ritz crackers under my engine cover after I bought it (used).

But yea unless you bought one from somewhere our cars didn't come with one.

I did the same thing except I called the dealer and accused them of lying to me because both of my b6s had it. That and the stupid triangle. Cheap ass Germans. Oh, don't look for the first aid kit either. I didn't have one.


I did get a free sirius radio though...

damm wtf! i just checked my back arm rest and no first aid kit. if i knew this i would've taken my old one from my b6 like i did the rain guards for the engine bay.. argh!
