    Brake Fluid Flush?

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
Getting read to put some S4 brakes on my car.

So when replacing all the fluid in the car, do I need to let the fluid just drain then refill then bleed or just bleed?

Just making sure so I don't screw it up.

    Re: Brake Fluid Flush?

well fluid will come out the lines if you take them off so have a pan or bucket there to catch the fluid so it doesn't hit the floor. No need to drain all the fluid. If you bleed enough fluid through the lines all the old stuff will come out. A couple small bottles of brake fluid is all you should really need to do a full flush. I would also bleed the clutch slave cylinder too or else the old fluid in it will contaminate the new fluid since it shares the same reservoir.
