Will this hood strut work?

My hood strut has bit the dust and needs to be replaced.

Been looking on ebay and found one for my A4 that is selling for $58: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-...mZ230292477253

Then i found this one for an S4 for $29: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/AUDI-...mZ230292477268

They both have the same specs "Extended length 28.07 Compressed length 16.14"

Is their any difference between the two? Will the mounting points be the same?

Can anyone cross reference the two part numbers and check to see if they are the same?

^^ours only has one and don't buy cheap ebay copies for that uncle installed one for a customer and a few days later it wouldn't stay open, the dealer charged me $18
