Well, finally finishing up the suede doorcards, a and c pillars and full headliner. I do not recommend this mod to ANYONE, it looks GREAT but it is a PAIN IN THE ASS. i covered everything myself with blue ultrasuede, but had to outsource the headliner because it had too many grooves and curves and it was driving me completely insane (couldnt get all the wrinkles and bubbles out) the guy that did the job for me did an A++ job. Also my girl got me a dash kit for my birthday, and although it is the stick on type, it is REAL carbon fiber cloth encased in a clear protective material. I think it looks awsome, looks like the real deal until you come real close-up and even then it still looks good, i might get rid of just the radio and climate control CF as it may be too much. i know some people may hate because its stick on but it looks good and i can't justify spending over $800.00 on just the door trims. let me know what you guys think.

P.S. if anyone wants to do the headliner job. ask me for advice, as i learned ALOT about removing interior peices.

Still to do are install front visors, install c-pillars, retint rear glass, and the guy from the dash kit sent me the wrong peice of CF for the shifter surround, he sent me an auto and i need manual. also wanna do suede shift boot and shifter (but in grey suede). and i know my car needs a detail.

thanx, got it on ebay just have to look for the real carbon fiber one, it's less peices and more expensive. and i'm probably gonna stick with the grey leatherette, unless some nice race seats fall on my lap...

i think my girl paid something like 150 shipped. and i actually think some nogaro s4 seats is what really would set off the suede interior.

i'm not sure,i think ultrasuede, was like 20something a yard, and Jo-Ann Fabrics had all high end fabrics for 25% off......not too thick, but had like a nylon? (i think) backing.

it was only 40 bucks seeing as i supplied the fabric. and as far as the moonroof cover it's staying since you have to dissasemble the whole moonroof to get the cover off

You as long as you're happy with it that's fine. Don't want to be an ass but you are asking for opinion, I wouldn't do it on my car. Think about it when it comes time to sell the car. Is the new owner going to like what you've done or is he going to say "What the hell is this." Personally I am looking for a trim for the doors and the dash maybe but eliminate all the extra stuff around the radio. I am holding off buying a trim for my car cause I don't see anything that I like. I am planning to take the whose trim off and give it to a body shop to paint it the same color as the exterior ( silver ).

With the current value of these cars, I dont think this will be a deal-breaker. INfact, as long as the work is quality, I would say it would fetch a better price

x2 my original head-liner and pillars were faded, discolored AND sagging. and my door cards were barely hanging on by a thread. and i do appreciate your input.....seriously all comments are welcome, when i post pictures on this forum i ALWAYS expect that there will be some people that like what i have done and some people who won't, everyone has an opinion and your absolutely entitled to yours.

oh, And im not worried about a "future owner" im worried about the current owner, and that's me

i was about to say that's a bold statement coming from a carbon fiber whore. lol then i scrolled down.

i really want to do the shift knob and boot in grey suede. and hopefully this guy sends me the right shift surround. also gotta redo the armrest.

notice the front dome-light also carbon fiber, it's still not fully bolted down thus why it looks like it's hanging a little bit.


i was gonna also wrap the b-pillars but decided against it, since when it rains and i have the window down a little bit, i didn't want it to get water damaged.

holly shit that blue pops, and yes, the job is a major pain in the ass. i did mine last year. if i knew it would only cost 40$ to have the headliner done i would have paid that. what a nightmare. looks great. props for going against the grain.

plz don't take any offense to this...i mean I have blue alcantara S4 seats in my Brilliant black...and to me it doesn't match.

in your case I think its worse since you're trying to match 2 different blues. To me its like wearing black pants w/ brown shoes.

There's a Santorin S4 a guy used to have a while back who did his interior in dark blue alcantara, and looked clean.

Props to the custom interior, I know it's not the easiest thing in the world to do. But, He's right... The other angles it doesn't show as much. Tint the crap out of your windows and nobody will notice.

c pillars are super easy, hardest part were the headliner, and the doorcards cause you have to remove them from the interior door-skin.

I give you props for doing something different, and unique. To be honest I really am not feeling it. It might just be the bright color of the fabric. I think it would look better with black suede or maybe a creme color, but its your car, and you are free to do whatever you want :]
