Question HELP!!! 1990 Quattro 200 idle control valve

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I have a 1990 Audi Quattrro 200 turbo. When I am stopped at a traffic light or parked, the RPMs go down until engine cutoff. Above 10K RPMs it's fine. Once it goes below that, it falls until engine cuttoff.

Where is the idle control valve located? How difficult is it to replace the idle control valve in this car? Any suggestions/instructions would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks.

It's located at the rear of the intake manifold. It's rather simple to replace just 2 hose clamps and one connector. Once removed try blowing through it. If you can it's bad if you can't its good and your problem is else where.
