Any VAG owners in Orlando (Casselberry)?

I just popped in my e-codes but I'm having a hard time at the VAG part. I can't seem to find the cd that came with the cable. So I'm searching for the iso or something that I can use online. But being a mac guy and new to Audi puts me into an uncomfortable position and I'm nervous about getting everything installed on my laptop (running XP) and doing the VAG for the first time.

I was wondering if either someone could walk me through the steps or if not too expensive, someone can hook me up with some VAG work? I'm looking for e-code high beam, DLRs with xenon on and turns off (unless turning), possible city light as DLR only-can't decide. Maybe the door bell chime and sunroof close on alarm arm (I think I read that). I do have the cable, trying to find the CD, but I lack experience and courage :)

yo bro, how were you planning on installing vag on your mac? installing xp with boot camp, or what? If you need, i have a copy of xp lite laying around. its only like 150mb, and requires no activation bs. Or if your ever in the hunters creek area (417 & john young) I can do everything for you. Im also a mac guy btw, I just have Vag on my phone

I have XP on my laptop (and desktop) it's the VAG software that I need and a walkthrough on using it correctly. All I know is to search for sections, write down current value and input new one. I'm just nervous about screwing something up, and I don't have the VAG software CD, so I'm searching around for it.

You have VAG on your phone?! lol, that's awesome.

Well, I can't seem to get the vag software running. I tried to follow the VAG revisited thread, but seeing that I run XP in emulation, I don't have all of the property options in order to match the settings. How did you get VAG to work on your mac? Also, I have the cheap e-bay cable, would that be able to do all the codes that I mentioned above?

Damn, might just be easier to have someone do it for me.

is your mac intel, or ppc? because with ppc, the virtual pc software doesnt recognize usb input devices. I dont have vag on my mac, i just use my phone software. If your ever in the area however, i can hook you up

I have intel mac. I get the software going but I get the 'no interface' error. I'll see what else I can find out but I may take you up on that offer.

Whoohooo!! I got it figured out and VAG-ed it. However, I can't change my dash to recognize my NAV because it says my VAG isn't registered. But I got it going, nad vag-ed my door chime and xenons, thanks for the help.

You want to help me out i need to Vag my car and i'm in Winter Park/ Casselberry area. My car won't start so anyone with a VAg in the area that can help me I would be very happy.
