    CEL= oxygen sensor

    My 2008 2.0T started to get a CEL around 7,500 miles. It'd go on for a few days, then off for a few days, etc. I finally brought it to the dealership and they replaced an oxygen sensor.
    Has anyone else replaced one of these with such low mileage on the car? Isn't that a little soon for something like that to go?

    Well I'm at 20k miles and I think I just got the same problem. I have a scheduled appointment for monday morning so I'll see.

    02 sensors are normally replaced around 80K miles. must be new sensors in the '08 models, some of them have to be faulty for this to happen.
