So I was at a boring (well not so much) company gathering and we went bowling it was fun and I figured hey...maybe my fellow AZ members would want to gather for a night, bowl, eat and drink.
So, I wanna gather some interest to determine if I should call around bowling places and see what type of discount, etc we could get and the amount of people who are actually willing to go (maybe deposit).
Ideally, I have two options: 1) Get some type of package that will provide us with food (appetizers and unlimited soft drinks other beverages will be extra). With this option, we would have one set price, which would include the above minus the beers. This is what we had at the company event.
Try to keep the lines to maybe 6 people max so we can mingle.
2) Have a large interest, arrive early and basically have all the lines for ourselves (doubt this will happen, but worth a shot)
I know a few places that unlimited bowling, which includes shoe rental but drinks, etc are extra. I would also try to have this as a family event if needed, Ill prob bring my nephew to this, keyword is prob.
Overall, if we got a large crowd..I know some people who could probably guard the whips in the parking lot, doubt anyone would do something but depending on the area, you never know. Dont want nothing to happen on my watch!
Anyhow, let me know if anyone is interested, max pricing should be about 20-30 bucks. Location is still in the air, can be anywhere from LA to OC.
I would really want to get this meet going, we dont need tons of people, but it would be nice on one saturday night to hang out with a group of AZers.
If anyone has other ideas for activities (ice skating, mini golf, etc) lets start something!! Then we throw out dates(next month) and lets make it happen!
