    Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa

Well I took my 2001 Allroad in to get the 93oct. program flash & they said my ECU wouldn't allow them to flash it. They said they tried 3 different ways & no worky

They said the only reason they can think of is the previous owner must have had it chipped before, but sottered, but tdoes that mean my car is chipped already, it doesn't feel like it.

Do you guys have any other ideas as to why it won't let them flash my ECU

Try and have them flash it while trickle charging ur battery. There's a voltage threshhold (which I don't know the exact value of) that is within acceptable range for normal car function, but is too low to allow ecu flashing.

open up the ECU and check if you have a socket on it already, might be a encryption socket. Did they try to flash it on the bench or thru OBD?

They said they tried it 3 different ways, but all through the OBD, looks like I'll have to crack it open, I was just scared to open up such a fragile thing like that, sometimes you just gotta sat..."Fukk It"
