So I'm down to a few choices... going on an Arctic White B6 S4 Cab with Black Top...

Any feedback on these choices in 19"/black - build quality/looks?

I'd stay with the stockers. Those wheels, IMO will cheapen the look of the car.

or go with stock looking reps from somewhere like hartman wheels. a few would look nice and practically dealer optioned. satin black rs4 reps would look sweet. not that silly chrome lip stuff though.

x2 Rock the stock avus and save yourself some $$$.

Or if your dead set on black wheel's maybe go with some black reps or powder-coat the stockers.

I agree those choices are not ideal, but a higher quality wheel would look better. I went with DPE R16s w/ Liquid Cinder centers.

    Re: Wheel Choice...

I actually had the dealer swap me for the BBS CH's on the newer S4's... so I'll be running those in the winter.

I want a black wheel, but really want a lip (deep dish) look. I had the MRR GT1's on black S4 and really liked them, but didn't want to go back to the same wheel. The DPE's, HRE's and BBS all look great, but everyone has them already and the lip isn't as deep as I'd like.

When I went to the WheelNext.com site, all these wheels were compatible -- I guess the Honda reference was a joke...

Nobody likes my ADR Propulsion's either on my USP, but I guess to each his/her own.

Zbrock - I still have the USP... waiting patiently (very) for the right buyer.

It may seem like everyone has these higher end wheel's when browsing the forums but out there in the real world you will be very unique. Even living in so-cal i very rarely see them, and i have never seen another set like mine in person. Give this some thought if "originality" is drawing you away from the likes of dpe, hre, bbs, etc...

+1, HRE's are the way to go. There's an arctic white S4 here with C21's and it looks so good. HRE's are good if you can afford them, and you see a lot fewer HRE's than DPE or Iforged just because of the price I think. But they make the absolute nicest wheels.

I'm not a fan of black wheels. I regret the grey wheels I have on my Avant and want to get rid of them soon for something silver or polished aluminum.

I just saw the HRE 890R's... but $1500/wheel? Michigan roads are hungry for fancy wheels. I think I'll go for the VMR version 710 if they ever get them in black...

Both. The black out murder look doesn't look good on most cars. That's why I like the liquid cinder, has some sparkle and not true black.
