ok so i found an older lady selling a 1990 audi 90. it has 224k all highway miles and the paint is faded red but the body is immaculate along with the interior. Heres what i noticed is wrong with it: The battery was stone dead, hooked up jumpers and still nothing, then i wiggled the positive cable and it threw some sparks then started, possibly a short it bad connection? The next is the brake pedal is rock solid and you have to press it real hard to even get a little bit of brake. The abs light is on and the fluid resovoir is filled to the top and the fluid is black. Possibly bad fluid/too much? When you shift the rear end makes a loud clunk, checked underneath and noticed some fluid on the rear end. Bad seal? also i dont think the power steering works, actually do they even have it? But anyway its really hard to turn. so those are the main problems that i noticed, oh and also theres a loud hissing coming from near the back driver wheel, i figured it was the fuel pump, is this normal? Any help would be great. BTW the lady only wants 300 for the thing so i cant really go wrong im just wanna get an idea of what im in for.
