I have an 02 S4 B5. My stock battery died and evidently when it did it took something with it. After I attached my new optima battery I noticed that my brake light was flashing, my abs light was on solid, and my radio wouldn't turn on. After checking all the fuses I saw that the fuse for the radio was blown, along with the foglights and abs. Once I replaced all the fuses, everything works correctly minus the radio.
The radio is not powering on, and I know the fuse on the driver side panel is not the issue. This is not a SAFE issue, as I am getting absolutely no juice to it at all... Is there another fuse inside the actual radio unit or amplifier?
I ordered Audi radio removal tools off ebay too, they should be coming early next week. (yes I know I could make my own, but I would rather not screw up the latch/locking mechanism; after all they're only 3 bucks shipped)
Can anyone speculate or help me solve the problem? Any advise would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance!
