Road Construction Thread

So the other night I drove down highway 7(heading east), just before kennedy, so about mainstreet, there was a major dip, after i fell in it was too late to brake...it felt like i drove into a curb.. I was soo worried about damaging the wheels/suspension, luckily the bbs held up..

which leads to this thread, if you guys know of any roads that is being worked on..should give us a heads up..

Bloor Street, just east of Yonge. There's a huge dip in the road, probably related to all the construction in that area. Had the windows rolled down and hear this horrible sound as some slammed VW Jetta didn't quite slow down enough as he bottomed out his car.

Watch driving on 427N and getting off at Dundas, right before the exit lane there is a min speed bump which makes the biggest fucking noise ever if you hit it, i've seen cars bottom out on it. I drive in the 2nd or 3rd lane where its smaller and then make a dive for dundas when I have to exit there. I think they're re-doing the whole area so hopefully that'll be taken care of soon

THE ENTIRE Major Mac.. from kennedy to Woodbine.. just avoid it

Major Mac is fine for me, I go against the traffic on the way home from work :) It'll be nice once it's twinned.

The road that should be fixed is Steeles, okay it might not be bad as some other roads in the GTA but Toronto and York Region really need to get this stretch of road repaved before it gets even worse.

i agree...i actually drive up to hwy7 then back down past steeles ..just to avoid driving on steeles..

and hwy7 along mainstreet/kennedy interval has been fixed..very smooth now

ALL of HIGHWAY 50 is a POS! Avoid it if possible.

on a more serious note..there was like random missing patches on hwy7 from after Leslie all the way till 404 exit .. it's like like playing frogger...of the 3 lanes 1 will have a dip..

and lately i've noticed there's alot of road work everywhere...especially markham..i wonder why

Lawrence Ave...the worst road in scarborough...avoid by all means!

Gardiner has been repaved same with the 401 markham to kennedy I think....oooh sooo smoooth haha

aha if they finally fix steeles, it would make going to school much quicker for me..so i can stop going up to hwy7..
