Glad they didn't do much damage but dam what is there a school for this or some thing?
When you look at the S4 the only lock to break is the drivers door lock and it looks just fine. So how did they get in and how did they drive the car with the S4 immobilizer then?
just purely speculation, but, the remote that controls the power locks is transmitted via a narrow band signal. and also it isnt hard to get into the car via the door lock, punch out the the cylinder and you have access. and as far as the immobilizer, its really a joke, i wont get into it, but you guys know the computer is coded to the key, how many different variations in ecu do you think are out there for any given model year of a car? answer the question and you answer how the immobilizer is bypased. But then again its purely speculation.
Please dont take this as me giving hints on how to "steal" these cars. because i am not, just trying to educate my fellow S car owners. Its amazing what you can learn hanging out with a good repo man.
