Was there last night and had a blast.
The Sable (sp?) fish was excellent, not a big fan of the desert although the GF was in love with the tiny chocolate plate.
Dancers were pretty cool, not sure about the 2 dudes in speedos though...
Highlight of the night was definitely the silver R8, too bad it had some curb rash on the front splitter. It's actually rather small in person, almost "cute" as my gf described it.
Funny little story about the valet. I drove up to drop of my car and the guy looked hesitant to get in. When he finally got in the car his manager says to him "Joe, standard transmission, you ok?" He's like "i think so..." - this is where i held the door open and asked for my key back, then proceeded to give it to his manager, lol.
Seeing the B8 in person was a treat. The front is gorgeous, aggressive and I love how the v6s have the grills painted gloss black. The 2.0Ts had the matte charcoal grills. The side of the B8 is somewhat lacking, very plain jane, maybe some door blades would help? I've never really liked the back of this version - btw, the tails are not LEDs (I think the S4 might be, correct?). Interior, wow, i'm in love, sitting inside you feel like you are sittiing in a much more expensive car.
Overall this event was much better than the one held at Sciene World last year.
Oh yeah, the swag: Audi bottle opener, some chocolates, stainless coffee cup/thermos, coupons, and a pair of aviator sunglasses.
