    S-Line vs. S4 Blade Comparo

So I stepped up to the D-Cup of door blades and I have to say I like 'em. There haven't been any comparisons that I have seen and it takes some searching to find the same car with both sizes so I thought I would take some pics. My car is dirty, I know. That expensive-ass detail lasted about a week. Anyways.... on to the pics:

    Side view, S-Line Blades:

    Back door S-Line Blades:

    Back door S4 Blades:

Blades on the floor (dirty ones are S-Line):

    Side shot (S4 blades):

In review, they are a bit more pronounced and have a different shape (more bulk on the bottom rather than the center) than the S-Line blades. I didn't take many pics of the front blades because, honestly, the rear ones seem to be the big difference. The front blades do bulge at the bottom rather than the center but aren't much different other than that. I think it would take an enthusiast to notice the difference but I personally love them, to each his own.

Nice comparo...definitely like the S4 blades. How much was the cost to swap if you dont mind me asking? They definitely look hot.

Thanks man. I found some for $350 on the classifieds just the other week. Luckily I have a very popular color so I didn't have to deal with painting them. I have wanted these since I bought the car and have been watching the classifieds since. The problem is unpainted they range from $375-$500+ which is crazy....

Re: S-Line vs. S4 Blade Comparo

So does this mean there's actually 3 types of friggen DOOR BLADES? (Non S-line, S-line, and S4) What the hell, Audi......they should've focused that energy on the front end!

I do like the comparison tho, if I do get new door blades they're gonna be S4 ones.

The wheels are RS4 reps made by VMR I'm guessing.

Grizzles, I want the s4 blades, but i havent had the time to take a look at mines to see how they're attached. Is it glue? is it hard to replace?

Very easy to do...All it takes is a screwdriver and about 5 minutes to replace.
