HELP!

Need some major help with a '98 A4 2.8L V6 that has me at the end of my rope. VAG read says cyl 1 misfire. Replaced coil pack, plugs, plug wires and MAF sensor. Even replaced valve cover gaskets because buddy of mine said he worked on one with cyl 3 misfiring and that did the trick somehow. Someone please help, don't know what else I could do.

swap injectors with another cylinder and see if anything changes.

How is your valves? There could be a burnt valve causing that. Good luck.

Injectors and valves are fine. When I disconnect the MAF sensor the cylinder stops misfiring. Guess it's to do with the programming but since it's a '98 cannot really alter the fuel going to the cyl can you? Any other suggestions?
