If you take the orange bulbs out you mask off the electrical part with painters tape. Then take you silver spray paint and lightly dust the bulbs. Not too thick, just enough to get rid of the orange glare. They will look silver through the lens but blink a bright orange color still.

So you see that at the lowest position your headrest still has a gap between it and the seat. If you take a paper clip bend it straight, then bend a 90deg in it. If you are looking at the headrest you jamb the paper clip in there on the outer side of the right rod. This unhooks the safety clip in it and will allow you to drop the headrest all the way down to the seat so there is zero gap. Just make sure the paper clip you use is thin enough...

yeah and make sure when you spray the bulb, literally LIGHTLY, because too much will peel off the orange... trust me, lol, just ask me how i know. stay atleast 10-12 inches AWAY when spraying.

pretty neat. too low for me, but my girlfriend will like it. she regularly complains that they head rests are too high for her.

What is the CC mod? What is the joey mod? What all do you need to do to put a cone filter on the MAF, and is it okay for the car? Thanks!

Also, what intake is that he got for only $35? That's crazy and don't think I'd ever put that cheap of a part into mine. Just my opinion!~

and those are some pretty extensive mods. did he factor in the new stretch bolts and gaskets needed for the head swap? or AEB IM to actually take advantage of the larger ports? or the time/money to install the trans? etc.....

tried this and the paperclip wont go down more than 1/2 an inch in there. which side of the right pole do you jam that paperclip into? also how far do you jam it down? i've been wating to loose that gap since i had my b6.

Might be the inside of the pole with the adj button on it (opposite side of adj button)....sorry forgot exactly where I pushed that thing in...did that like 5 years ago. Might have even used a pin instead of a paper clip for all I know, I think it was a thin paper clip though, just needs to be thin enough to fit between that gap. I think I jammed it down around 1/2"-1"...

the trans install is free my friend, and the headgasket and headbolts would be ~$50...

I guess for $250, a trans with longer gearing and a big port head aren't good mods

Why would you just lower the front headrests with a paperclip when you can just switch the front and back headrests and make it look 100X better?
