    Lock Issue

Just picked up ANOTHER b5. This time a bit newer, but ran into an issue.

When unlocking/locking the car with either the fob or key in the driver/trunk lock all i get is an armed alarm and not locked doors. (except the driver door or trunk when i insert the key into either one)

I don't have a vag but i know it has something to do with the central locking system. Either the pump in the back or a hole in the system somewhere.

I do hear the locking mechanism in the trunk working its making a very quiet hum for about 5-10 seconds but the locks aren't locking.

My question is, Is it the pump in the back thats broke or is it possible that there is a hole somewhere and thats why none of the doors are locking.

weird. I had this exact same problem because I forgot my windows open after some rain showers (lucky didn't pour) But then one day, it all of a sudden worked again. Hope it works again
