    tiptronic question..

    what us the S gear for on the shifter.. the one at the very bottom.. i thought the manual said something about it being a stop mode or something but i thought i jsut read something on here saying its a sport mode? is there a noticable driving difference when in this mode??
    B5 A4 - silver [gone]
    B6 a4 - Crystal Blue [current]

    FS: B6 A4 sport struts with about 30k on them

    WTB: S4 or USP front
    Door Blades
    Rear Lip Spoiler
    USP or other Rear

    Sport mode.
    The car shifts at redline in this mode.
    More aggressive shifts and such

    Stop mode? LOL.
    Its a sport shift mode that holds the gears longer and yes, it is a noticable difference.

    more responsive longer gears and has better throttle blipping and engine braking.
