    Re: new to audizine

YEAHHH!!! welcome to the forums chief. you are going to fit in great and make tons of friends acting like a fucking prick like you are!! congratualtions!!

meanwhile.. i didnt even say anything wrong.. your car looks weird.. i didnt even say bad (although thats what i was thinking because i see like 3 different colors of paint and a strange looking front end) but did i say that?? nope.. i just said it looked different and was curious why

    once again, WELCOME!

and would you take better to my posts if my user name was pronouncable??

and not to be toooo much of a dick.. but i dont really care about your good or bad day.. you posted a picture in a forum (which is ALWAYS going to get responses.. good and bad) and you get mad that i ask why it looks strange.. which it apparently does?? instead of telling me how your day went.. just do a better job exlaining why its like that or dont post shitty pictures if you dont want shitty responses

    Re: new to audizine

Are you friends with enzoballin by any chance? That car looks like something his dads shop would build.

Your car looks terrible. If you were going to do that, why didnt you buy a civic or a 240sx??

But honestly, you have the most riced out A4 on this site, although enzoballin is givin you a run for your money at the moment.

Next time you have fender damage, instead of repairing the A4, why not buy a civic and start over. The painted fog light housings would look great on a turquoise civic.

Oh...and you on a public forum pal, so your going to have to learn to take the good with the bad. Although I cant really think of anything "good" to say about it.

Hmm... Don't like the hood or grill... it's hard to tell from the angle of the picture but that looks like some serious wheel gap.

I'm just not sure about your car yet though.

    Sorry for the damage!

    Re: new to audizine

the car doesnt look bad in those threads.. but for some reason the picture in this thread just looks jacked up.. the filler plate looks extra thrick and looks like its a matte grey color... and the grille kind of looks empty.. like theres no mesh or anything inside of it.. and between the hood, the bumper, the kit and everything it looks like 3 different paint colors

    Re: new to audizine

i bought this car ~8 weeks ago in california at audi mv
    25k with about ~13k miles

ya it is the caractere body kit
i didnt install the body kit nor the hood
and i have no knowledge of past owners of the car so frankly i dont care
im the current owner of the car.

now that the kit is no longer in production im leaning towards just replacing it with the s-line body kit and a stock hood for now

i came onto this forum/audi community not knowing very much nor am i trying to portray im very knowledgeable.

likely the difference between a stock hood and the cfiber hood will be extra money for me with insurance/body shop so ill get to invest it in other areas

ive been reading around on this forum... all the faq and tutorials for the past few weeks now, and this is the first time ive actually made my own post.. so im here to learn now and ill take all constructive criticism

but to me, it doesnt make since why i would trade my a4 in for a civic when im not paying anything for the reconstruction of the car
and where is this "rice" shit coming from? is a carbonfiber hood in this forum really that looked down on?

the car looked :( sexy as hell, as shown in the pictures above (http://cdesignllc.com/gallery/album64)which is the actually showroom for the audi dealership i bought this car from

HAH, dude, I bet a previous owner did!

That being said, there is just something really off about the look - the filler plate, bumper, and rest of the car look like 3 differnet colors. Throw in the dark CF hood, and it's just one of those looks that doesn't sit well with the eye.

I think you're making a great move to go with an S-line bumper, but there are some sick hoods you can get that aren't CF that are cheaper than a stock one. I wish I knew WHICH hoods those are, but I couldn't tell ya; personally, a new hood is about the last mod I'd do till I needed to either get more air to a beastly engine or drop weight by getting one made of carbon fiber.

Hope you get the repairs done, and despite the others, I'd like to give you a warm welcome!

i'm not sure he probably ran off with it.. i would.
ya im really liking the idea of s-line bumper

but my car still lacks a hood and i have about a ~1000$ to invest
    stock are 430$ish?
what other options do i have, non-cfiber? thanks

btw, Dana Point is a beautiful area of SoCal, my grandparents lived there for a long time when I was younger. They've since moved to San Clemente down the coast, which still isnt bad, but definitely isn't DP either.

i'm likely going with the s-line bumper and a stock hood and putting the 600$ extra into a car audio system that the previous owner clearly took with him as im left with shitsound stock

Yeah I agree with going with the Deval front bumper. If you want something that is different from most other Audi's on the road but stands out real nice!
If you have the extra money maybe another hood but I would say with the stock hood, Deval front end and the extra money on the audio and you will be looking slick. Good luck and welcome. To bad about the rough beginning to this forum, but I think you really took us for a loop with that front end. It is without a doubt a love it or hate it look.

These almost look like 2 different cars between the showroom and this thread.

It's bizarre. I would go for a Deval or DTM front bumper and RS4 grille. BTW, there's nothing wrong with CF hoods.

I am sorry to hear about the accident and delays with repairs though man. Welcome to the forum.

My carbon fiber hood was cracked in a car accident. So right now my insurance company is covering ~1000$.. so it may be to my advantage i go for a stock hood and get 600$ elsewhere

Is this what you guys are talking about ?
    http://www.eurogearusa.com/index.htm...A402_DVSS.html

That looks sick but I don't know if my insurance has enough to cover that much for the bumper..
