18s look great, but I do think 19s also look better. however, I'm not willing to lose ride comfort for a slightly better looking setup.

Looks a little lower than stock too which is good...I have an S4, so it sits an inch lower than a stock A4.

Silver looks good. Did you ever see a light silver car with Gunmetal 18" RS4 reps?wheels? The onyx I don't like, but the gunmetal is interesting.

Some nice looking pix up in here. I just ordered my VMR's RS4 inspired wheels last week in Gun Metal and still awaiting delivery. I'll put pix up once they arrive and I install. I was debating on wheel size for a long time, but looking at these pix the 18" go just right with the proportions of the B7 and I don't have to sacrifice comfort.

No Worries! Enjoy.. just seriously got sick of waiting for other to come through.. i kept looking at my options and i am going to be that guy who sits for a year in a dilemma over which to go for (18's or 19's ) My TI's look OK. But I am wondering if 19's will look too huge for the OE brakes... I mean i see a lot of the cars without upgraded brakes and its just silly looking. - ( ever seen a hummer on 30's ) with ( 11" Rotor )..

I think 18 is good. 19 can look a bit iffy at times. 18 has that factory+ look that I like. The S4 actually comes with those RS4 style twin spoke wheels in 18", so its not a stretch to affix them to your A4.

The only A/S/RS4 with 19" wheels is the RS4, and it has MASSIVE flared wheel arches to ensure that the wheels look to scale on the car. Don't forget, it's not just the wheels that are bigger on that car....it's almost every piece of the body, and they all fit perfectly together on the RS4. I usually think that A4 cars with 19" wheels always seem to look that little bit...off. Tough call...bear in mind I'm a stock lunatic...if it doesn't look OEM i tend not to like it.

well also to keep in mind that 19's tires wont last as long nor will be that much fun taking on canyon runs.. I guess with a decent drop and a 245/40/18 tire all will be well. I am curious though if 255/40/18 will fit..on 18x8.5.hmm

Hehe the taxes on imports of cars are insane! It's calculated on ccm and HP...:p
1$ = 5.7 norwegian kroner.
So a S4 would cost us 240 000$ or about 1 368 000 Nkr. :)
I payed 58 000$ for my 2005 A4 1.8TQ B7 avant...bought used in 2007..

Even tho the dollar is rising, it's still low so buying stuff from the states is fun! :)

Parts and styling I think is about the same price as you guys. It's just the cars they have all this tax on!
