New Clutch Prices? Quotes?

hey guys. i just bought an 04 USP and it needed a new clutch. the place i bought it from is installing it. Should be done today. How much am i looking at paying? it is being done by an audi trained mechanic but not at an audi dealership.

i know i know i should have done it myself and upgraded the clutch blah blah blah but i just wanted it to be fixed so i could finally drive my new car.

wait, you gave them your car to replace clutch and you didnt even ask how much its gonna be?? if so they can make up what ever they want and you gonna have to pay it

they apparently are going to pay half because i just bought the car from them 3 days before it broke. I just wanted to know what the standard quote would be? I just want my new car

that should have been discussed before you signed anything. They should pay for it all, LOL. It's a stock clutch I would imagine?

my clutch blew 2 months after getting my car. audi wanted 1600 for the clutch and flywheel. they wanted 1000 to install. i got sb stage 2 with lwfw for less than half the price. and had them install it. them installing it was the dumb part of my decision. your probably looking at roughly 500 for install. (half or 1000). they buy it from audi 1600, so half is 800. 800+500=1300........good luck

When I got a quote it was 1600 for parts and labor from audi, Audi did not have a new flywheel on the quote.
