Right now I have 19x8.5 et35 rims with 235/35/19 tires on every corner. along with this each corner has a 5mm spacer, bringing the offset to et30 all around.
I rubbed pretty bad in the rear and decided to cut the fender liner:
Doing this made rubbing disappear about 90%
I have been running this setup for about 6 months and its great and only rubs slightly with 4ppl in the car on the freeway or on dips
But.....
19x8.5 et30 in the rear isnt flush enough for me so i put on my 15mm spacer on the rear and got this:
this makes me happy because its flush and looks great as a stance
the stats are 19x8.5 et20 with 235/35/19 and it looks sick
Now even with the fender liner cut it rubs mad! like just under normal driving and normal smaller bumps int he road would cause it to rub excessively.
I was planning on getting an alignment tomorrow and getting an:
"aggressive street setup" : with around 1.5 to 2.0 negative camber in the rear. (anyone who has a good suggestions based on pics gimme a idea)
Looking at that picture and estimating the camber do you think this will fit with minimal rubbing?
I dont have the exact measurements of my drop but heres a really old side shot to give an idea. i know its pretty dropped right now at a great height and i dont want to change that by raising it.
I think I am afraid of having the aggressive street setup on my alignment and having the 15mm spacers in the rear still rub to the point where i dont want to drive with them on and having to switch back to the 5mm spacers and have the stance looking weird with the slightly tucked rims and cambered wheels.
Sorry for the long post... anyone have thoughts?
