Magnaflow onwers!!

ive been through just about every exhaust...looking at my options....so if i want a thoaty, not too loud, and no rasp or drone exhaust, is the magnaflow kit a good choice for this?...is the sound pretty close to the "high quality" audio clips on the website?

14829 mags with no resonator but still have the CAT is what I have. Sounds just like what your looking for.

16601 is for quattro, 16600 is for FWD, just make sure you order the right one for your car!

milltek sounds great...but $1100 compared to $750....magnaflow seems like a better choice

sounds wicked in real life.. deep when you drive normal, and when i rev it up its just pure bad ass.

16600, 3" turboback with a Y split to the mufflers with resonator.

is that custom with just the 16600 mufflers?...does sound wicked..but for a daily driver id get sick of it being so loud...im looking for the performance aspect of an exhaust..rather than the attention...

Dont do the downpipe and keep the resonator then. Thats the way mine is (2x 14851 and 2.5 piping from the Y split back)
Sounds good when you get on it, but idles and cruises @ 2K rpm with a nice low rumble. Not obnoxious at all.

I cant be waking the family up pulling in and out of the garage, not to mention the car is just not that fast and a loud exhaust usually brings unwanted attention from faster cars that will smoke me =)

When I go GTRS, then I'll free things up a bit more exhaust-wise.

Any of you Magnaflow owners notice any drone while at 3k RPMs, under slight boost (i.e. going up a slight incline)?

I remember a couple weeks ago there was a thread with a ming blue B6 that has magnaflow exhaust... can't remember his name though. Does anyone have a picture with the Magnaflow 16601 on a B6 A4? Thanks.
