A good place for a wheel alignment ? 01' Audi S4-Chicago IL

Anybody know of a good place for a wheel alignment in the Chicago land area/ NW IL suburbs for a 01' Audi S4


so far I got CPT and Tahlman's in Northbrook..any where else ?

I got new control arms and tie rod installed at the dealer and they said audi's need "special alignment" since audi's are AWD and also need the ABS sensor re calibrated blah blah....? is this true ?

I also plan on getting new tires, I'm not sure if I should wait and get the alignment after ?

but Audi stealerships charges $250+ for an alignment, I think that's BS...wheel alignments go for $100-150 ?

i had my a6 aligned here and we have the tools... we dont do camber but i got you on toe all the way...

I had mine done by Thalman's for all four wheels and they charged me $75. Happy with the service and the price is good imho.

I think $135. But your suspension has to be a in a good condition, otherwise, most likely they wont do it to u.

don't remember as I had the car corner balanced as well. Call them and ask for Al or it might be posted on their website.

I'll have to look at my receipt but I think alignment was 120 and corner balancing was 140.

Thing is I left the shop and had to return 15 mins later because my car was pulling to the right and the steering wheel was not centered. When I came back I went for a test drive with Al and was told the steering wheel was straight and the pulling to the right was normal and thats not how you tell a car is out of alignment. I had to argue with him to get my car put back on the machine and get it realigned. And guess what? The alignment WAS off and the steering wheel was NOT straight.
I say take it to Continental.

russ at contential audi isn't there anymore. is there anyone else that won't charge a arm an leg for an alignment. i need a alignment place that will do front camber (moving the front subframe back and fourth to match it up equally) i also need the rear camber and toe adjusted for my S4 and rear thrust angle adjusted.

yep, i was there one time cuz my MAF sensor started fucking up, I came almost after hours, they fixed my shit. and then gave me a tour of all the cars they got back there, let me start up that track TT they got there and shit. id say go there.

man i went to GRD today and when i got there they said my rear wheel bearing was messed up. i just got the wheel bearing fixed three weeks ago by some dude in the northern burbs. pissed as shit.

Firestone in Skokie does decent job, right now they have courtesy $20.00 combined with $15.00 mail gift sertificate

i bought lifetime alignment plan for $135

i can get alignment for free every 6 months, and every time i prove that i worked on the car. as long as i own the car

go to the just tires off rand in arlington heights(near arlington heights road)

ask for rob.. he does great alignments.. always aligns my 01 s4.. and does a lot of performance alingments as well.. tell him ricky sent you and he should hook you up
