H-Sports HARD. They transform the handling. Best first mod and best mod for the $$ for our cars. Put mine on the third month I owned my allroad (and put them on my brother's A6 shortly after) and have never considered removing them.

search "hsport" for reviews i think i reviewed mine a couple years ago

these are larger than the stock ones... really really really changes the driveability... it's a whole new beast afterwards and makes the car handle like it was on rails

i stupidly sold mine thinking i was trading in the car

It is a pretty straight forward job. MAKE SURE YOU INSTALL WITH THE STICKER FACING THE RIGHT DIRECTION.

In addition to the included directions, I used this as a guide: H-Sport DIY Guide

Just finish installing the fronts.. Pretty easy to do.. One issue I had was the Link bolts didn't line up about half inch difference. I had to drop the car on the left side to line it up. The rears going in tomorrow..

    Re: Early Christmas Gift

Alright guys I installed the back ones on Saturday. The back is such a Bitch to do compare to the front. The hardest part is to take the old one out and put the new one is in because the exhaust is in the way. But I was really happy when it was it was all done.

I went for a short test ride and the car rides completely different. When the car go into a corner you don't feel the body roll at all. I am really happy I got the sway bars.. I go back home to take a shower and go for a long drive.

This the fuc**ed up part. So I am all ready to go for a drive and I started the car and the CEL came on and the car is not running right. So got the VAG COMM and read the code and guess what I need coilpacks. I was so pissed. I didn't want to drive the car like that so I put the car back in the garage. I am going to call the dealer find out if it covered under warranty and if they are going to change all six..

04A6SLine-- When you do it you should do both. According to Hotchiks the rear bar make the bigger difference and the are adjustable. I got mine from tirerack. Puremotorsport is cheaper but shipping is more.

o.k.. i'm about to put part of my next paycheck on this... so should i go for H & R or Hotchkis...

    H&R: front - 275.00 rear 225.00

Hotchkis, front and rear - 392.00

now.. i'm looking, the Hotchkis are about 3mm bigger for the front than the H&R. both rear are the same.. but they are 100bucks difference.... which one should i go for??

Hotchkis imo. cheaper, a bar is a bar. aslong as they are the same diameter get the cheaper one. in this case the Hotchkis have a bigger bar upfront too.

    ok.
    1. Go hsport especiAlly if you do both.
    2. If rear only, then either. Not sure you can get just rearwith hsport
    3. I didn't say just do front. It would make the car understeer even more. The Hsport rear sway has two setings: street and track. Use street.
    4. If you do one then rear only IMO

The sways totally change theway the car drives. Evertook a turn in the A6 and not onlythe car rolls but it also feels likeit is pulling toward the outside? The bars will make it more like it is cutting thru the inside of the turn. Feels great. One of the top 3 mods IMO.

    Re: Early Christmas Gift

I agree with audirs.. I don't understand whey H&R cost more. If you are planning to get these I would get both of them. I set mine to track setting on the rear.

The messed up part is I still have driven my car after I installed them. I need to go get new coil pack tomorrow or Thursday.. :((((

    Re: Early Christmas Gift

I see DVs and TBB as necessary reliability upgades. My top mods taking into account cost and results/gains are chip, piggy pipes, sways, pads/SS brake lines/race blue fluid combo. All performance mods in go fast, braking and handling categories. Greatbang for the buck IMO. Look mods are nice but secondary tome. Meaning if I could not do all those above would be my pick. Then I'd do suspension. Wheels Are nice but truth is my own 17" BBS RC are light, strong and Dow great job. Just my opinion.
