check engine light came on

I had the code pulled and reset the check engine light code 16804 catalyst system, bank1 efficincy below threshold. What does this mean?


When i bought the car it had a high flow cat on there. I have driven 13,000 miles and now the check engine light comes on.

Go to Ross-tech.com and type in the code and it will give you some possible problems/solutions

Common problem with high flow catalysts. No need to worry about it. Just clear the fault with vag-com. It will appear again after a few miles depending on the way you drive though.
