What spring for 007 with BT?

The final parts for my GT2871r elim kit should be here any day now and I was cleaning up my room and found the extra springs and shims for my Forge 007. What I found was the Blue spring and Green spring and two spacers. I know the spaces are supposed to make the initial boost spike more solid for the sack of smoothness, but what are the weights of the different springs and which would you guys recommend with my 71r elim? How many spacers? Thanks.

I was using the blue spring with my GTRS but many people recommend using the yellow spring with 1 shim.

Hmm I've been using the yellow one all along. At the time I installed it I for some reason decided to go with yellow and was REVO 2 at the time. Is the yellow stiffer than the blue?

I ran blue as well when I had a DV, yellow with a single shim should work too

Not to confuse anyone, but I run the green spring and it works just fine.

I run yellow, no shim...most of the time when the DV is in use, you are not at full boost but rather daily driving.

The key is allowing the pressure to vent when it is needed.

Re: What spring for 007 with BT?

I was studying my DV lay-out the other day trying to figure out if I need something stiffer than a green spring.

Mine is situated so the TIP side is against the piston. The boost side is against the backside of the piston working in conjunction with the spring to keep things closed. I think that is how I'm able to get away with the lightest stiffness spring.

I am so used to how my car is that I forget how it was situated from the factory.

I ran blue for a while. I now run yellow, no shim.
I run in reverse so I don't know if that changes anything.

This probably covers everything. The blue one would be too abrupt..
