ok so my car was dead in my drive way all summer now i replaced the starter today bosch by the way and jumped started my car it would idle funny so i unplugged the maf and it was better so i kno i need that but then my blinker wouldnt come on or my drivin lights why?fuse wasnt blown weird...and then a weird noise is comin from the back of the motor like somethin is gettin moved aroun like a lil piece of medal then turned it off and lights and everythin would work but now it doesnt crank over at all doesnt even make a noise like its tryin so please help please

ha damn pretty much my car started up today for the first time in a couple of months swapped starter for a new one and needs a maf sensor but my drivin lights wouldnt turn on had to hold the brights but now it doesnt turn over at all what could it be

Did the battery go dead? It might need a throthle body adaptation which id done by vag-com and that's why your car doesnt stay running. As far as your no start problem i would check if you are getting power from the battery and how much this is where volt meter helps. Being that you disconected power security could be messing around. Check all your fuses to make sure it's all good.

Motor locked up? Have someone turn the key and you check the power to the starter if it's not getting any than go from there. Lock and unlock the car with the remote or key to disable the security. I'm tired and that's all i can think of right now hope it helps.

You said you jumped the car. How long was it running? is the baattery fully charged? I would recomend to charge the battery with a battery charger not your car because next thing you could be replacing is your alternator. Good luck.

In order to help, one must understand what the problems are. Thus, basic grammar, just enough for us to make out the sentences and what you're trying to ask is mandatory. Well, good luck with the car, come back when you're ready to type out your problems and questions clearly.

Get gas treatment. Drain tank, fill, treat.
Get a VAG. Or get a ScanGauge: read the codes.
If you disconnected the MAF and it ran better, swap a MAF with someone and see if that works.

I would say slap in a new battery for sure as yours will be shot if the car was left standing.

Jumping the car all the time is not a great Idea due to the fact ECU have been known to die. I would also check you have no standing water anywhere as this could cause a short, battery area tend to get clogged up and water builds up.
