Under-seat storage rattling?

The under-seat storage tray on the left seat is rattling like crazy when I hit bumps and stuff. I've looked under there and studied the tray trying to figure out why it's doing it but to no avail. It just seems like it's rattling side to side like it needs to be tightened down somehow. It's too hard to just dodge all the bumps so has anyone ever had this problem and what was causing it? Thanks!

I figured it out finally. For future info:
There's a small rubber spacer (for lack of better term) on the front of the sliders, on both sides, that doubles as a silencer when the drawer is closed. I'm missing that spacer on the left side of the drawer that's rattling.

Mine rattles. I just have a piece of paper wedged in there to stop the rattling.

My driver seat storage is rattling badly as well. The passenger seat storage is fitted tightly and securely whereas the driver seat storage is able to bounce and rattle in the rear portion of the storage compartment. In other words, the front is fitted securely whereas the rear has play and thus is allowed to bounce whenever there is a bump in the road.

Any ideas? Do I need to remove the entire seat to secure it completely?

Well, my thought process was to ask before I pull out the entire seat to check...

I'm sure it's a screw or fastener.

have the same issue on the passenger side, it worse when the car is at idle....any idea where to get the rubber piece?(besides the dealer)

I hate to raise this from the grave, I am experiencing the same issue. (Rattling from my passenger side compartment!)

As I mentioned in a previous post, I determined that I'm missing a very small rubber cushion, on one side of the drawer, that goes between the drawer and the front of the slider. You can't get just the rubber piece unless you can luck up and find one in a junkyard. Otherwise you have to get the whole drawer assembly. If you find out anything different please let me know because this is getting annoying! Thanks.

i have a rattling problem on the passenger side and i cant for the life of me figure it out. it goes away when someone is sitting in the passenger seat.
i wonder and hope that this will solve the probem
