    Audi Service Code

    How do you get rid of the Audi Service message on the dash, went to the dealer and they told me it would be 650 dollars to get ride of it, is there a certain code you can use to get rid of it? Being that I've owned my car for 6 years and there's only 30k miles on it, there all off on knowing when my car needs to be serviced.

    A 2002 with 30k? Wow. My 2002 has 130k

    You are fine until about 50-60k. At 60k you should start thinking about a timing belt.

    If your car was stored in LA the whole time I don't think you should have a problem with the timing belt and serpentine belt dry-rotting.

    Change your oil every 5k or 4 months and you should be alright.

    It's actually in the manual...

    ^^he probably means they wanted to do a service on it, which cost $650.
