Identifying Fraud/scam Ticketmaster tickets

Hey guys.

well needless to say i missed the sale for the coldplay tickets... and the seats that are left over are crap...

WELL there are people out there online selling tickets and.... i have heard that some of those tickets are scams... self made or w/e

Soooo i am wondering if there is anything i should look out for. I found aperson selling tickets.. but they are e-tickets... and he states that he will give me print outs from ticketmaster (where he bought them from). Is there anyway i can make sure those are legit tickets??

I'd consider that a victory and call it a day

...but on a serious note, I'm not sure of a good way to verify those type of e-tickets... have you tried craigslist and stub-hub for tickets? Thats where I always get mine

ask him to print out the email he was sent from ticketmaster too - he can black out his personal info (like cc num, addr), but if it's an e-ticket, he should be able to provide that too.
