Towson University

Ok guys. I am starting a Car Club thru Towson Universiety. My plan is to try and get it to a point like CPT(College Park Tuning).

If any of you are in the area and would like to come out and support us, or just be a part of the group. Right now we are meeting on thursdays at 7pm at the top of the Towsontown garage.

Right now the club is not official thru the school so no horsing around in the parking lot please.

not sure how the meet would work because the tu police are pretty strict about having things sanctioned through the university.

We had a meet last thursday and didnt have a problem. We are going to be affiliated with the school so we dont have to deal with the police breaking shit up

How does a car club become affiliated with the school? Specifically, how does a "european car tuners/enthustiasts" become affiliated?

Wouldn't the faculty deem it as some form of "support" to the illegal street racing scene?

...Other than that, how far is Towson from Tysons Corner? 1hr?

college park tuning is through the school. My plan it to start it as a club. The meetings instead of being in a class room will take place outside.the reason to do it through the school is so that we can throw a huge car show using the parking garages. The club will not be only euro but i am going around with flyers and not just telling everyone. Only nice cars. It will be nice to some audi support tho. Towson is like 1 hour away from tysons

Yea, and it rained. I was supposed to show my old Evo. But i didnt want to make the trip up from rockville.

I wanna do one nicer than that this year.

Not sure, i just mapped out a cruise, Kinda want to go out and do it before it gets totally dark. Although might possibly do it friday during the day cause i know most students here dont have class on friday. Will figure it out tomorrow tho.

Hmm, maybe you guys rolled up after i left. I was there till like 8ish or so. Only the peeps from school and a couple TT350Z.

Anyway, This will be going on either this Wednesday or Thursday. I should hopefully have my car back by than. This should be a good way to meet some people before H20.

We were definately in different areas then, I was there at 7. There were 4 VWs there when I got there. Aaron rolled up about 730 or so with a couple of his friends. I think there were like 9 cars or something including a white BMW and a Volvo.
