Really close, or contact. Close is not contact. Move along.

Lowering springs will change geometry of the control arms, and can contribute to rubs.

If it doesn't rub you are fine. As perviously posted, your control arms will sit differently because the car is lower, but you are not low enough that it will rub on them. Most springs can't get you that low

    damn,...

    A..tire to wide
    &
    B. you'll need to go with 40 profile

235 is a bit to wide IMO.

What about rolling the wheel well? Does it rub in the front?

235/45/18 tire is way too big. Get correct sized tires. 225/40/18 or 235/40/18

    Get a Honda?

Seriously, figure out your offset, you ride height, and deal with it. "My tires rub" is usually the result of poor research, not poor design.

i got my tires for cheap, before i even had the rims. before i even put them on i knew they would rub, and i knew i needed 225/40. it was just a way to get around buying new tires when the cash was low

    I have a set of 18x8.5" wheels...

then I went 2" lower all the way around....I had some niticeable rubbing issues with my 235/40/18....so I downsized to 225/40/18 and rolled my fenders at the same time...I have absolutely no rubbing issues whatsoever....

I run 225/45-17 on my wheels and I rub sometimes, 235/45 is huge!

pfft if i remember correctly we rolled your fenders after you realized that your fenders were giving your tires a haircut!

hmm I never rubbed when I had my 235/40/18 on 18x8 et 42 wheels. Reason I went with 225/40 with my current/new tires is that they're wayyy cheaper haha.

Baseball batm or fender roller at a high-end shop. Get a good heat gun to stretch your paint.

it doesn't rub my fenders just the control arm that runs over the top of the rear wheel if i buy a wheel spacer will it stick the wheel out far enough that it wont be a problem?
