dad just picked up a b8 a4 since he needed a car and couldnt wait 6 months for an a5.. the 2.0 tfsi engine is much faster than my 1.8 and the ride is much smoother. yes i kno the b6 needs suspension and wheels but i am waiting until the winter is over

I agree on the exhaust disapointment w/ the 2.0t's.
On a positive note, hopefully the single exhaust w/ the 2.0t will lead aftermarket systems to be cheaper if you choose to stick w/ the single pipe.

I saw B8 last week at my dealership and I was disapointed of the general design of the car. First, it's very large, the interior is less classical than B6-B7, the rear look a little bit bimmer, and until the S4 exit, B8 does not look sporty as well. You can say that again. I have seen two so far and one I got a really good look at at Waterfest, the rear ruins the car and it only looks worse in person, the front and interior are amazing like quoted.

i think the single sided exhaust looks great. then again im a firm believer that a 4 cylinder car doesnt require a dual exhaust. really gets me going when i see factory dual exhaust cars convert to single. see it alot on s2000's in the honda world and think its awesome!

I'm very dissapointed. Those wheels look identical to the Passat wheels...is that the direction Audi is moving in?

thanks for all the comments guys.. i would definately wait for the s-line package for any one considering buying a b8 since it comes with amazing seats and a nicer body/rims/suspension etc.

yes the rear is debadged my dad asked me to do it. he also wants to chip it when one becomes available along with window tint, suspension and possibly wheels. i expect the car to be decently powered once chipped.

i just painted my grills last week with plasti dip and they came out flawlessly.. im debating on painting the rear audi rings along with the rear bumper strip black as well..

damn it really makes the B6 look outdated...

The interior is so driver-centric, like a BMW. I dont know if I like that or not. Either way its a nice looking car!

I like the front and thats about it..... I think the stock wheels are ugly, the exhaust should still be dual, and the back side is just ehhh... the B7 rear lights were awesome. I guess as it gets more popular and also more popular in the modding scene, plus maybe if audi doesn't already offer a S-line pacakge, then when they do, it could grow on me.

i do really like the B8 except for the single-sided exhaust. the interior is hot as hell. and A4 Kidd, don't stock A4 wheels ALWAYS look terrible? why would the B8 be any different? haha
