Bosch #3402 oil filter for 2.8L?

I bought this filter at Autozone to use with some Auto-RX on my 99 A4 Avant 2.8. That was the number that was specified in their system. However, searching around here, I only see reference to a Bosch 3421 oil filter not the 3402.

Does anyone know whether this 3402 filter will work correctly?

Once I've gone through the 2,500 mile Auto-RX treatment, I will revert to a Mahle or Mann filter.

Compare the size and it should match up. You could probably just resue the filter you have in there. They are rated for 20k km.

IIRC The 2.8L filter from Bosch is #72198. At least that's what we use at work.

Thanks for the responses. It looks like it is similar to what is on there now but I figured I'd ask before I tried it.

Filter works but it is shorter than the other filters.
