    It's a nice piece. They all do the same thing so its just a matter of how much you want to spend. Get one that has 400+ cell catalyst as it will not trigger a check engine light.

    I had their downpipe with HFC and cat-bak on my MKIV Jetta and it was a great product! No check engine light and good hp gains. I installed them separately, first the cat-back adn a couple of month later the downpipe/hfc, and saw great gains with both. Perfect fitment as well. So you should be good in your B5.

    That is more expensive than the Labree. The labree is $250+shipping ($280 to my residence). The techtonic one is $310+shipping ($340).

    My 400 cell labree HFC gave me a CEL also. It seems to be hit or miss with whether or not you will get a CEL.
