P0302 & Coolant Sensor replacement - almost done.

Ok, so I finally found where my Coolant temperature sensor is

    for those that dont know and have a 2.8 A4 ( 99 )
You have to remove the intake piping from the throttle body and you should see a plug with 4 wires on it. Chances are its going to be blue in color.

Also, im going to tackle this mis fire on cylinder 2 CEL i have.
Hopefully its just the spark plug ( I hope )

Next would be my other o2 sensor.
Recently got a code for B1 S2. Didnt realize I also had code for B2 S2.

on another note: Does you coolant temperature sensor have any effect on the AC?
I notice my AC doesnt come out as cold as it used to. When the coolant sensor does work and needle raises it feels like the Ac comes out colder.
Any chance those two things work together?

    Re: New Project to tackle

    Update: 09/18/08

    So I changed 3 spark plugs on bank 1 ( cylinders 1,2,3 )
I thought I had extra but I didnt so I'll have to pick up 2 more tomorrow. Plus, im getting my CTS tomorrow so might as well change it then too.

changed plugs, cleared CEL and eventually left.
The CEL did come back on but its for the 02 sensor which I know.

voltage on Bank 1 Sensor 2 o2 sensor doesnt really change. Various from 0.435- 0.450
However, Bank 2 Sensor 2 does appear to be working. voltage changes from 0.375 - 0.650. As the car idles it eventually steadies around .4xx

so I guess im going to have to change the o2 on b1s2 despite me telling my brother to change it when i got my clutch done. They may of replaced b2s2 instead.

    Re: New Project to tackle

I forgot to mention when I removed the intake from the engine and held the Flex hose my finger slipped right into it.
Upon illuminating a flash light into it there were massive rips on it.

Picture is kinda dark but thats the best I was able to do at 11pm in my garage with my ceiling light broken.
Of course the bulb goes while im swapping the plugs.

Where can I get this flex pipe? I do have a part number but ecs, purems and german parts dont seem to have it.
