Anyone have an extra set of Orange OEM sidemarkers

Besides great gas prices, the state of NJ sucks, especially for car inspections.

I failed inspection for having blacked out side markers, anyone have a set that they want to sell?

It would be great if someone had these locally. thanks!

those signals are not required by DOT standards, they are a ecode requirement, the only place you need to have an amber reflector is near your turn signal. If you went and clear cornered your head lights then you may have a problem, and the inspector saw your DOT stamp on the head light and figured that the side must be amber then.

In california at least, you need some sort of amber reflector on the side of the car. Ours are in the headlamp assembly so if you did the clear corner you technically need one somewhere else to pass inspection.

For example, look at the b7's they have them on the bumper because the headlight has no side reflector. For our cars, the one on the fender only needs to illuminate yellow if you still have the stock (unmodified) headlights. They were clear to start out with, not amber. I'm not saying you'll win, but you at least have a legitimate argument if you want to go back and fight it.
