Which color on new brake calipers?

Will be getting some 6-pistons calipers for my black A5, but I cannot choose which color to have...

Will someone please help me out..

Red: everyone paint their 2-piston red.. kinda boring and I am not sure if it fits a black a5..
Yellow: too much?
Black: too dark?
Silver: maybe..
Gold: ?!
Blue: ?!

I say black... Not flashy, but when you notice them, they look great. Also, the RS4 has black calipers....

But silver, would look cool!

x2. Blk or silver. It is a classy car and any rainbow color would look trashy...Porsche thinks they pull off the red calipers, but i don't think it looks good.

i'd say black because the silver will get covered in brake dust and then its kinda pointless to have them painted. On the black you won't notice dirt as much and it will match the car when standing out between the spokes. Are those Work wheels?

I would go silver but nsmith12 has a point regarding brake dust.

regarding brakedust I bet that painted (brembo or stoptech) has a much more smooth surface than stock calipers and the brakedust will be easier removed? correct?

Really with all the brake dust talk? who is going to have this nice a car and not wash it. he has a black car...it will look so dirty before any brake dust will have time to accumulate...

I would love to see you darken the finish on the wheels to the "titanium" look. That would be sick...

Maybe you haven't experienced the brake dust issues but my experience with audis says otherwise. Its a lot harder to clean that brake dust off the calipers with those wheels too.

Hey Mikej, I feel your pain. I have a black A4 s-line with the chrome trim and polished mirrors and I am having trouble deciding as well. Looks like I'm gonna go with black tho because red and yellow do seem a bit childish. Also, ordered S4 rattle clips to contrast the black in the front calipers (gonna look sick) and getting 4 rings logo in white or red for backs. Asked around and seems like that is the classiest set-up. You could always look into the S5's brakes, that's the look I'm going for.

I like red...especially since you're going 6 piston. But it is played out, I guess. It sounds to me like you want color so go yellow. Gold is much better on white cars and blue is for volkswagens lol. Yellow is great but you need some yellow in the interior to make it fit. i.e. seatbelts or something, just look at Lambos for reference.

I hope your getting a 355mm front rotor cause your wheels are HUGE!
Anyhow......RED or SILVER....Though red might be played out, they are still classic in the BBK world.

Honestly RED will look best. Red calipers (Stoptech, Brembo, ect) aren't played out.

- Red painted tiny oem calipers on civics and scions are played out.
- Yellow or Blue BBKs should be reserved to yellow or blue cars.
- Red BBKs look great on pretty much any car.
- Black or Silver would be a great choice if you want to go low key.

I like black but it won't be easily noticeable. I also like red and red always stands out its up to you but unlike many others I do like the red and don't think its played out.
