    Quote for Turbo+cat install

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
I bought a ko3 awhile ago because the one on now is making drill noises metal scraping noises and isnt boosting like normal. So I was wondering if someone who has paid for a similar install, stock turbo and new cat to replace test pipe. Or if a vendor from matrix or something similar could give me a quote, knowing I have the turbo and cat, just need them installed. Thanks in advance.

go outside and install them yourself... shouldnt take longer than 30 minutes on a lift, some companies rent lifts by the hour... and shouldnt take longer than 2-3 hours with the car on jack stands and non-air tools...

    Re: Quote for Turbo+cat install

haha yeah its kinda far, u'ld be better off putting that gas money towards the install. If you are doing the install urself, and u dont need an oil change or coolant flush buy some vise grip locking C clamps:

Or do this as an alternative:

(copy paste the link, for some reason image linking wont work w/ the URL) -> http://www.tsobad.com/jtso/Images/TB...p%20pliers.JPG

And block off the lines right before the turbo so you only need to top off the fluids when you're done avoiding the spill and extra cost of brand new fluids (if you dont need new fluids)

That'll save you some time and money though. GL

If you're located in West Linn, Auburn is only 2.5 hours away.

4-5 hours is about right for the cat, and turbo. Call Joey at Double J Motorwerks 503.253.0800. They specialize in turbo upgrades, engine conversions, and routine maintenance for VW and Audis. Check out: www.doublejmotorwerks.com.
