disconnect battery, lose chip?

i disconnected my batter from the positive side and now my apr chip is gone....this normal?

nevermind..wasnt entering the security lockout correctly

I did the same thing and forgot about the lockout; thankfully my first program is chipped.
Remember to do a throttle body alignment now that you've disconnected your battery.

where do you enter the security lockout? the stock h/u?

its for the apr chip...done through the cruise control
