Bad cat converter. If your under 8years/80k miles, its warrantied. I had mine repalced a few months ago @ the dealer 100% covered.

not always a bad cat . . . sometimes it is the front or rear O2 sensor. I just cleared my fault code and it hasn't come back in months. In my case the heater for one of the O2 sensors isn't working all the time and is giving an intermittent connection.
