    how big can our brakes go....??

    i was just on ksport's site and i noticed that they made 16" BBKs.....12pot/16"disc lol can our 20" rims really take that?

    I am sure they could but why? You would need a super wide tire to be able to use all that brake. Your weak link is the small contact patch from the a3's tire profile.

    i agree. your braking power is mostly ur tires.

    better tire = better grip = better stopping distance.

    big brake kits are to make ur braking consistant over multiple uses aka track.

    rule of thumb fro brake rotor size is that it must be 4" less than rim size (this can vary some, the A8 12.3" rotors fit under 16" wheels)

    so, yeah under 20"s you could fit 16" brakes

    however a 20" wheel and a 16" rotor are gonna suck allot of power just to start moving, remember that when checkin out those brakes

    ...im running 9/10" wheels. not all that small

    lol im not going to get those brakes. just curious cuz ive never even imagined those brakes on the car lol
