    Wheel Fitment Question - Offset

Guest-only advertisement. Register or Log In now!
    Hello,

I own a 2007 A4 Titanium package with the Titanium wheels and from what the dealer tells me they are 45 offset. Now im trying to purchase a set of wheels for winter and they must be 18x8 but am unsure about offset and how it will react. What offset am I safe with going and if i was to go with a 35 offset would that bring the wheel out towards the fender??

    Thanks for the help

Why do you need 18's for winter?

I know but i just recently purchased a new set of 18" winter rubber since last winter i just swapped the rubber on my stock rim so now i just want to put them on a different set of 18's to make it easier to swap back and forth. Plus 18" looks nice :)

35 will be a few mm from being flush with the fender. You'll be fine, although for winter i'd try to find a higher offset to avoid sandblasting your fenders with salt.

I guess i would be nice to see a pic of someone with a B7 with 35 offset wheels to see how much they actually stick out b/c 10mm not sure if it will bring them out of the fender.
