USA Spec Ipod Kit

hey guys. i have an a4 06 2.0t with the rns-e which i installed. so i got the usa spec ipod kit from 2point5.com . now, i have the ipod classic and i set everything up fine but its not charging the ipod. any ideas? could it be that i need to enable the cd changer through the vag com since the car did not have a cd changer initially. ????

You may want to call the guys over at 2point5. Sounds like you didn't do something correctly. I have their usA spec kit and it charges my iPods just fine. I'd hhelp you, but they did the install so really not sure what couldve gone wrong.
