    Vag question

    I have read in many threads that for people installing the rns-e to their audi's, you need to vag the car. is it really nessesarry to vag the car. if so, what does it do because i have an 06 a4 2.0t and i got the rns-e and i didnt vag the car and its fine. any ideas?
