how much is an "S4 Swap" worth?

year of donor/swap car, mileage, mods, quality of swap? There are sooooo many more variables in the equation. With any swap car its MUCH more subjective to the buyer than a normal off the line car.

I wouldnt pay more than a regular S4.. i mean Honestly it's kinda pointless the bodies are the same. Might as well get a S4 and know that it's quality. As someone said before , you dont know the quality of the swap.

Bone sotck to bone stock, it as about the same value of an non swapped A4.

Around Montreal, A bone stock mint S4 goes in the area of 18 000$

Swapped are between 12 an 16

There was one swapped A4/S4 car sold a vagmotorsports this year in the 30 000 $

Insurance varies by state. The op is in ny as am i and it is higher. You will see a rate difference between a4 and s4 just as you woul 330 to m3

I agree with you if the build quality is very high. If not I wouldn't touch it. At that point I would spend the extra money buy factory quality and assure myself that the factory didn't take any shortcuts re engineering the car.

yeah, it is a bit of a suicide car, putting a powerful engine into a car that isn't designed for it (brakes, suspension) but whoever buys the thing should realize that.

i would describe it as a "wolf in sheeps clothing" and "get the performance of a S4 without the price" and some highschool kid will buy it in no time.
