    97 to 99 transmission

    Anybody know if 97 tranny is same as 99.5? 2.8 12v VS 30v 5speed. Is final drive the same and also are the gears same? longer or shorter etc,etc. My first gear is noisy and i can get a 97 tranny for $100 VS $700 for a 99 one.

    Thanks for the replay but i just went over to look over the tranny and it's cracked from him mooving the car with a forklift. What a dumb ass.
